About me!
I’m Hanan, the educator behind Kind Words Tutoring.
I hold a Master of Teaching (Primary) degree. I am a certified Sounds-Write practitioner, offering help with reading, writing and spelling to young learners, and those requiring targeted intervention due to learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.
I have training in the MSL instructional approach from the IMSLE, which is an evidence-based to structured literacy intervention that supports students with dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
I am currently teaching English as an Additional Language to refugee and migrant learners of all ages, and I also teach Arabic in a specialist role.
I have three daughters, and outside of teaching, I delve into different crafts such as cardmaking and sewing. I also love to cook and try out new recipes.
